Having been raised by my grandfather during the wonder years,a master cabinet maker from Sweden,turned me into a serial remodeler. I tried a number of different things,but kept coming back. I am currently remodeling for others to pay the bills. Having scored a few bucks on a lottery ticket last week,I am able to take some time and remodel around here.
I have a block fence coming the first part of next month. I have a surveyor coming to do a boundary survey,(900 bucks). I am gonna build the fence one time only. I have an electrician coming tomorrow to tell me how much it will cost to replace my electric panel. I am rooting around for a quote for the driveway for the other side of the house. I am working on the design for my workshop/garage,as the folks offering such services want way too much money. These folks think that they need to make a profit large enough to go on a two week cruise with every job. I will end up designing and building it myself. I’ll have to win the lottery again to do this,as my design will be expensive. 9′ceilings,custom trusses,an 18×18 foot deck assembly and storage area,power,light and plumbing. What was going to be my home office,is now going to be my media room,as the 42”tv is astonishing,and gives me that big screen feel for watching movies.
But for now it is off to the jobsite to work on the closet project
